Elvira fans will love these next couple of guests. Please welcome Susan Kellermann to the lineup of the Washington State Horror Con from October 25th through the 27th. Susan played Elvira’s nemesis Patty in the 1988 comedy Elvira: Mistress of the Dark.
 
Susan Kellermann is renowned for her versatile performances across stage, film, and television. Kellermann made her Broadway debut in 1979 in the play “Last Licks,” a role that earned her a Theatre World Award, signaling her arrival in the theatrical world with significant acclaim. Her career on stage was marked by her ability to bring complex characters to life, showcasing her deep understanding and portrayal of human emotions.
 
Susan has roles in several memorable movies. She played Grace in Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice”, “Death Becomes Her”, and “Last Holiday”. Her filmography also includes films like “Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl”, “Planes, Trains & Automobiles”, “Boys and Girls”, “The Devil’s Advocate”, “The Secret of My Success” in addition to “Elvira: Mistress of the Dark”.
 
On television, Kellermann’s versatility shone through various roles. She is perhaps most recognized for her portrayal of Greta Gravas, the mother of Latka Gravas, in the television series “Taxi.” Her television debut was marked by appearances in shows like “Starsky and Hutch” and “Laverne & Shirley” in the mid-1970s, setting the stage for a career that would see her guest-starring in numerous series over the decades.
