Shawnee Smith first dip into the horror genre was her performance as Meg Penny in the 1988 remake of The Blob. She later became one of the most recognizable figures in contemporary horror as Amanda Young in James Wan’s Saw (2004). She would returned to that character across the franchise in Saw II, Saw III, Saw VI, and Saw X. Her additional horror credits include The Grudge 3 and Stephen King’s miniseries The Stand.

Outside of horror, Smith is perhaps best known for her six-season run as Linda on the hit CBS sitcom Becker, where she starred opposite Ted Danson. She later took a leading role as Jennifer Goodson on Anger Management and appeared in major studio films including Michael Bay’s Armageddon and The Island. Early in her career, Shawnee played Rhonda Altobello in the 1987 hit comedy Summer School with Mark Harmon.
