Amanda Detmer

Amanda is an actress whose credits include the 2000 supernatural horror film Final Destination, in which she played Terry Chaney. She later appeared in the 2006 thriller Final Move and has archive footage in Final Destination 5.

She made her feature debut in 1999 as Miss Minneapolis in Drop Dead Gorgeous. In the early 2000s she appeared in several comedies, including Boys and Girls (2000), Saving Silverman (2001), The Majestic (2001), Big Fat Liar (2002), and Kiss the Bride (2002). Additional film roles include You, Me and Dupree (2006), Lady Driver (2020), and the holiday films A California Christmas (2020) and A California Christmas: City Lights (2021).

On television she starred in What About Brian (2006–07) and Man Up! (2011–12), had a recurring role on Empire, and appeared in Second Chance. Guest credits include The Vampire Diaries, The Mentalist, Private Practice, and NCIS.
