Ty Simpkins

Ty Simpkins first became known for horror as Dalton Lambert in James Wan’s Insidious (2010), a role he reprised in Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) and Insidious: The Red Door (2023). He also appeared in the 2021 film Where’s Rose.

His career started by working as an infant, appearing on the soap operas One Life to Live and Guiding Light, and later made his feature debut in Steven Spielberg’s War of the Worlds (2005). His early film work also included Little Children (2006) with Kate Winslet and Patrick Wilson.

Before he help an Avenger, his roles included Pride and Glory and Revolutionary Road (both 2008, opposite his sister Ryan Simpkins), The Next Three Days (2010), Iron Man 3 (2013) as Harley Keener, Jurassic World (2015), Meadowland and Hangman (both 2015), The Nice Guys (2016), Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale (2022), and The Re-Education of Molly Singer (2023). He made a cameo as Harley Keener in Avengers: Endgame (2019) and won a Saturn Award for Jurassic World.
