Ashley Laurence was discovered at 18, and she made her film debut as Kirsty Cotton in Clive Barker's Hellraiser (1987), a role that thrust her into the horror genre. She would reprise her role of Kirsty in Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988). She made a cameo in Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) and returned to her role in Hellraiser: Hellseeker (2002).
Ashley also starred in the possessed-child chiller Mikey (1992) and the terror of Lurking Fear (1994). She would later be featured in the gory film Red (2008), A Little Bit Zombie (2012), and the vampiric frenzy of The Lair (2022).
Some of her other credits include: Face the Edge (1990), Savate (1995), and TV arcs on Beverly Hills, 90210 and CSI: Miami.
