We are going to take a stab in the dark that this announcement will make you SCREAM.  Please welcome David Arquette to the lineup of the Washington State Horror Con from October 25th through the 27th.

David’s career significantly took off with the Scream franchise, where he played the lovable geek, Dewey Riley. The first film, released in 1996, was a massive hit, blending horror with humor and meta-commentary on horror films. His performance in this series, continuing through Scream 2 (1997), Scream 3 (2000), and eventually returning for Scream 4 (2011) and Scream (2022), solidified his status as a horror-comedy icon.

Arquette began acting in the late 1980s with minor roles, but it was his performance in the 1993 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Following the success of Scream, Arquette explored a variety of genres. He starred in several comedies like Never Been Kissed (1999) alongside Drew Barrymore, and Ready to Rumble (2000), which allowed him to showcase his comedic timing.

David’s other credits include films such as Airheads, Wild Bill, See Spot Run and Eight Legged Freaks. He directed, wrote, and produced the film The Tripper in 2006, and has additionally produced the films Just Before I Go and 12 Hour Shift.

His television credits include CBS’ Double Rush, ABC’s In Case of Emergency, and Disney Channel’s animated series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. He executive produced the game show Celebrity Name Game, for which he received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination.  He has produced the television series Daisy Does America, Dirt, and Cougar Town.
