Just to be safe, we thought it would be a good idea to bring an experienced detective to our show who has tracked down serial killers and also fought an interstellar war against Arachnids. Please welcome Dina Meyer to Washington State Horror Con Puyallup from October 25th through the 27th.
Dina Meyer is a film and television actress, perhaps best known as Detective Allison Kerry in the many Saw Franchise films and her memorable role as Dizzy Flores in Starship Troopers.
She began her career in a recurring role on the Fox teen drama series Beverly Hills, 90210 before landing a leading role opposite Keanu Reeves in the 1995 film Johnny Mnemonic. Meyer appeared as Romulan Commander Donatra in the science-fiction film Star Trek: Nemesis.
Meyer has also acted in the films Dragonheart, Bats, D-Tox, Line of Duty, and the dystopian movie Amerigeddon in 2016. She appeared in the 2010 horror-comedy film Piranha 3D and 2017 horror film The Evil Within.
On television, Meyer starred in Secret Agent Man, Point Pleasant, and 90210. She starred as Barbara Gordon/Oracle/Batgirl in The WB superhero series Birds of Prey. She reprised this role in 2019, on the CW series The Flash during the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover.
Meyer has also made several TV guest appearances on Friends, Six Feet Under, CSI, Monk, Nip/Tuck, Burn Notice, Castle, NCIS, and Criminal Minds, to name a few.
