Please welcome the iconic actress and Academy Awards Nominee Juliette Lewis to the Washington State Horror Con lineup in Puyallup from October 25th through the 27th. Juliette is a gifted actress, singer, and musician known for her versatility in her diverse filmography, which includes horror projects, dramas, comedies, and thrillers.
Lewis became an “it girl” of American cinema in the early 1990s while receiving various accolades, including nominations for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and multiple Primetime Emmy Awards. Her powerful scenes in the horror/thriller Cape Fear with Robert De Niro captured the quiet complexities of adolescence and earned her an Oscar nomination and Golden Globe nomination.
Lewis began her career in television at age 14 before making her film debut in My Stepmother Is an Alien and was then cast as Audrey Griswold in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Her subsequent credits include Husbands and Wives, Kalifornia, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Natural Born Killers, Strange Days, and From Dusk Till Dawn.
Lewis received an Emmy Award nomination for the television film Hysterical Blindness, and later starred in Enough, Cold Creek Manor, Old School, Starsky & Hutch, Conviction, The Switch, August: Osage County, and Ma.
Lewis has several credits in television appearing in Wayward Pines, Secrets and Lies, Queer as Folk, Welcome to Chippendales, and Yellowjackets.
