A horror show without the iconic Jason Vorhees just wouldn’t be right. Although a few people have worn the mask, we targeted Kane for our first annual Washington State Horror Con in Puyallup from October 25th through the 27th. Please welcome Kane Hodder, the man behind the hockey mask for several Friday the 13th movies and games to the lineup.

Kane Hodder is the true definition of dichotomy: he is possibly the most beloved horror icon in the film industry, as well as with his millions of fans. Kane towers at 6’3″ and has an intimidating unforgettable, powerful presence. And a heart of gold.

Best known for his portrayal of JASON VORHEES, in four of the FRIDAY THE 13TH films, he is arguably the most memorable JASON. To date, Kane Hodder starred in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, and Jason X.

Kane is also well known for his role as Victor Crowley in Hatchet, which rolled into the film franchise, Hatchet II and Hatchet III. He also played Leatherface during the stunts of Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III and the motion capture in the video game The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Kane Hodder is often compared to legendary film stars such as Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi, and Boris Karloff.

Hodder portrayed Grawesome Crutal in the slasher film, Muck and its sequel Muck: Feast of Saint Patrick. He co-starred with Doug Jones and Michael McShane in the horror comedy film Love in the Time of Monsters. In March 2015, he was part of Adam Green’s ArieScope web series Adam Green’s Scary Sleepover.

Meet Kane Hodder all weekend at the Washington State Horror Con from October 25th through the 27th. He will be signing autographs, taking photos, and speaking on a panel at the show. Tickets for the Washington State Horror Con will go on sale on August 1st.
